CHRISTMAS CARDS
2018
2018 was the birth of Marching365, and also the start of the annual Christmas card to all of our clients and collaborators.
2019
In 2019 I envisioned the annual card having a recurring theme - vintage Christmas elves. This goes back to my childhood where my parents had a decoration that was brought out every year - vintage elves climbing a ladder. It was one of the first Christmas decorations that they ever acquired after they got married back in the early 70’s, and it has been proudly displayed every year since. I have the original decoration in my possession…and I may have picked up a few more along the way!
2020
Back in the early 80’s, when my sister and I were little kids, my mother would stay up late one night before Christmas and take cans of fake snow and decorate the large window in our living room. When we woke up the next morning, we would go into the living room and see the window and it looked like we were looking out into a winter wonderland! Growing up in Hot Springs, AR, “winter wonderlands” were rare, so the few years that my mom did this were very special to us, and very memorable. Her selfless act of love for us still hasn’t gone unnoticed, even over 30 years later.
This is the type of love and dedication that is poured into everyone one of the shows we design at Marching365, always striving to create something that is special and memorable.
