Owner Clayton Harris has been involved in marching band activities since 1992 as a performer, director, designer and coordinator, clinician, and as an adjudicator. With over 13 years experience designing marching productions, creating more than 350 shows, Clayton brings over 25 years of overall expertise and success to the table. This level of experience allows Marching365 the ability to make solid choices in design options that will best fit the needs of a wide range of program sizes, abilities, and purposes so that each band is set up for success.

CLAYTON H. HARRIS
Owner + Program Coordinator + Head Drill Designer
Clayton Harris has been a professional marching show designer and drill writer for over 20 years and has written over 400 shows in this timespan. He is the owner, head designer, and drill writer for Marching365, LLC, and has had numerous shows performed at the UIL Texas State Marching Championships in the 3A and 4A classifications. Over the past 8 years, Clayton has had 49 productions advance to the UIL Texas State Marching Contest in the 1A, 3A, 4A, and 5A categories, as well as numerous state-level competitors throughout Arkansas, New Mexico, and Virginia.
In 2018 Clayton completed three years as Director of Bands at the University of Texas – Permian Basin before moving back to DFW to pursue show design full time. Prior to moving to West Texas, Clayton served as Director of Bands for the award winning Redwater Dragon Band. Under Mr. Harris’ leadership, the Redwater Dragon Band earned six UIL Sweepstakes Awards, was an OPS State Finalist in 2013 and 2014, 2nd Place UIL Texas State Marching Finalist in 2011, and 6th Place UIL Texas State Marching Finalist in 2013.
Prior to directing, Harris maintained a private lesson studio in Plano and Southlake-Carrol ISD, both in the Dallas area, while working towards his Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in Trumpet Performance at the University of North Texas. Harris has also served as Visiting Music Instructor at Ouachita Baptist University as trumpet instructor, jazz band director, and assistant marching band director; the University of North Texas and the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music as a graduate teaching fellow; and adjunct music instructor at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
Clayton Harris earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Henderson State University and a Master of Music Degree in Trumpet Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.
Clayton now lives in Princeton, TX, with his wife Misty, and their three children, Madison, Mason, and Maebry.

ROBERT HESSE
Business Manager
Robert Hesse is a freelance drill designer who serves as part of the program team for numerous bands across the country. His last teaching assignment was Director of Bands at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. He also served as Director of Athletic Bands at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas for eleven years. During his thirty-six years of teaching, he has taught in the public schools in Hope, Springdale, Marion and Arkadelphia, Arkansas. During his career, his bands became nationally recognized for their excellence. Mr. Hesse is in great demand as an adjudicator, clinician and drill designer throughout the United States. He has been on the staff with Bowl Games of America for the past 32 years and was part of the production staff for National Championship Sugar Bowl and Orange Bowl pre-game and half-time festivities. Mr. Hesse has also served throughout the United States and Canada as an adjudicator and clinician for World Strides OnStage Heritage Festivals of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Art Grossman
Project Manager / Designer
Art Grossman, originally from West Michigan, is a prominent figure in the pageantry arts community, currently serving as the President of the North Texas Color Guard Association. With a strong background in program coordination, he also plays a vital role as a program coordinator for Marching365. Art is the Executive Director of Eagle Mountain Independent, a distinguished group that achieved IA finalist status at the WGI World Championships, and he is the Visual Caption Head for Saginaw High School. Previously, he directed CGT Fort Worth, leading the group to become a two-time IA finalist at the WGI World Championships. Over the years, Art has worked with numerous programs across the Southwestern United States, including Keller Central High School, Boswell High School, Birdville High School, Chisholm Trail High School, McKinney High School, and Springtown High School, sharing his expertise and passion for performance excellence.
